Sta-Tru Wheels was founded in 1984 by Bill Hencke, a life long bicycle enthusiast. The company is based on Bill's vision of providing exceptional service and products that exceed Sta-Tru's customers' expectations. From the modest beginnings of lacing hand built wheels, it was obvious that the labor-intensive process of wheel production could no longer survive without automation. Sta-Tru Wheels produces large volumes of high quality replacement wheels utilizing computer assisted robotic wheel assembly and truing machines by Holland Mechanics. Holland Mechanics is recognized world-wide as the leader in state of the art bicycle wheel assembly equipment. As a member of the Bicycle Product Suppliers Association and Bikes Belong, Sta-Tru Wheels is dedicated to supplying bicycle and bicycle parts distributors that service the independent bicycle dealer. |
